The Department of Biomedical Engineering prides itself on providing a personalized program, with thoughtful attention to the success of individual students.
Our department offers two distinct master’s programs to suit a variety of career goals. The standard MS program provides a strong foundation in biomedical engineering principles, while the one-year Medical Technology and Innovation program focuses on medical device design and includes an eight-week clinical immersion.
Our PhD program in biomedical engineering prepares students to solve some of the most complex biological and medical challenges. Through mentorship from world-class faculty, laboratory rotations, and specialized coursework, students will define their research focus and contribute to groundbreaking advancements.
The MD/PhD program allows students to combine medical training with advanced research in biomedical engineering. After completing two years of medical school, students begin their PhD training, where they focus on addressing biomedical challenges, preparing them to lead in both clinical practice and biomedical research.
Gain Clinical Insight
